Welcome to ST3 Kickboxing! Our philosophy is that working out is more fun while you are mastering a skill. Kickboxing is a conduit for building motivation and confidence within yourself. Here we teach drills utilized in training by professional fighters in a non-contact, adults-only program. We teach our students the proper technique of punching and kicking safely on heavy bags and targets. We have a variety of instructors with different styles and experience in martial arts. We understand that success is based on routine, so we offer multiple class times to accommodate the busy lives of our members. It is extremely important to us that our students feel successful and supported in an environment free of judgment.
Kickboxing will burn calories, increase flexibility, tone, increase cardiovascular capacity, and relieve stress. We aim to foster individual support in a community atmosphere so everyone can feel comfortable. Our classes are designed to cater to adults of any age and fitness ability. The rounds are timed, not counted, allowing you to work at your own pace . We believe in pushing, not pressuring. You will exceed your limitations and achieve fitness goals you had no knowledge of setting.
As a community-type school, we believe in participating together in activities outside of class, such as local races and fundraisers. Many of our students and instructors have participated together in events such as Spartan Races, Warrior Dashes, and Zombie Races. Most recently we sponsored a water table at the Declaration Day 5k, at The Captain’s Table in Monroe, while some of our members ran the race, which benefited Girls on the Run of the Hudson Valley. These activities improve not just the body, but the mind and soul. That’s the ST3 difference, and the heart of everything we do.
